Safest place to be – COVID19

Safest place to be – COVID19

Since the announcements by President Ramaphosa regarding travel restrictions due to COVID-19, we have had 6 cancellations. These, for the most part, have been made by travellers from lock down countries. They have either had their visa’s revoked, or would have been travelling through international airports.
We feel confident that we are fulfilling the requirements imposed by the SA Dept of Health and the World Health Organisation. We have no full time staff, no restaurant on the property, and are practicing social distancing.
Other than a friendly welcome upon your arrival, in order to hand over keys and show you the ropes, there will be very little social interaction during your stay.
The farm is isolated, away from any general populace, and is probably the safest travel bet if you have any fears regarding the contracting of COVID-19.
If at any point you feel that you have been exposed to COVID-19 prior to your arrival, or are showing symptoms of the virus, please have yourselves tested; and consider your travel options wisely.
We will honour all booking refunds in relation to COVID-19 fears, but kindly request that you consider changing your dates rather than cancel, as the financial burden on the tourism sector is crippling during these difficult times.
Practice kindness (and wash your hands).
