d’WaenHuis

d’Waenhuis is a restored farm building dating to the late 1800’s. It was originally used to park the ox wagon. Today it’s a self catering retreat for romantic couples or solo travelers.
d’Waenhuis has high Oregon ceilings and is packed with plenty of character and retro delights. The lounge area with indoor fireplace is most spacious, with the bedroom leading straight off it.
There’s an open-plan kitchen, outside braai area and covered stoep. All bedding and towels are provided and a bag of wood is complimentary per night.

The cottage has a private, exclusive use plunge pool directly off the stoep It also has exclusive use shaded parking. There is Eskom power with solar backup to run the lights, a plug point and wifi during loadshedding. Gas stove and oven with stove top kettle for that cup of tea or coffee during loadshedding
